LAST month's update:I have been prescribed a tablet of 40mg Nexium for the treatment of acid reflux. This is to treat my heartburn and reduce the risk of the heartburn recurring. I am also taking Esomeprazole for my stomach upset. I have had a bad reaction to Protonix (Nexium) for about 10 years. I have noticed some reduction in side effects and a good response from Nexium. I do not know what the cause may be, how this medicine will affect me and what dosage may be appropriate for me.
